Hot in the City

This is about the life of Miss Mo, a 30-something gal who recently moved back to Singapore from the US.

 

Miss Mo goes to Melaka






Last weekend, Miss Mo and Superstar went to Melaka!

Melaka was still the same as before. The red building is still there. The ruins still remain and the mega mall is still there.

We shopped a lot the first day we were there. There's this store called FOS, short for Factory Outlet Store. It's the most amazing store found in this part of the region. We found a lot of good deals and it's really worth the trip there.

Of course, we couldn't resist the temptation of good food in Melaka. We had loads of delicious cuisines like its famous chicken rice, Cendol, nonya laksa, etc. Yummy! Melaka was pretty small too. I think we were on Jonker Street many times too.

We stayed at Hotel Puri which was a lovely Peranakan house. It's really huge inside.

It was a nice little trip.
