Hot in the City

This is about the life of Miss Mo, a 30-something gal who recently moved back to Singapore from the US.

Miss Mo visits the Singapore countryside!

Sigh! It's been pouring for the past couple of days. Despite the rain, Miss Mo decided to check out Bollywood Veggies. I wouldn't know that this place exist if it's not from my friend's MK's recommendation. M stumbled up this place while he was riding in the area some time ago. He just got a new GPS system so he wanted to use the new toy to get to Bollywood Veggies!

This was actually my second time to Kranji. I went to Sungei Buloh a few months ago and I really liked Kranji a lot because it is like the kampung. We went by the Lim Chu Kang way and we saw lots of cemeteries along the way. If it wasn't for MK and his GPS kick-@ss toy, I wouldn't have located Bollywood Veggies.

We had lunch at Poison Ivy Bistro. This restaurant cooks everything organic and the vegatables are all natural, from the gardens at Bollywood Veggies. I dont' know why but we didn't try the vegetables! We had curry chicken (no coconut) and prata! The curry chicken was really not bad even though there wasn't any coconut milk. The prata was so-so. We had lime juice (delicious!) and coffee.

It was a really laidback place and I'm not allowed to tell anyone where this place is. So if you guys want to go, please let me know as I'd have to seek MK's approval. After all, he was the one who discovered this place so I should give him some credit.

Tried the Kranji Trail? It leads to Sungei Buloh.
