This is about the life of Miss Mo, a 30-something gal who recently moved back to Singapore from the US.

 

Miss Mo's Mid-Autumn Festival



This year's Mid-Autumn festival fell on Sep 25. The Singapore Adventurers' Club organized a night hike from Clementi to Kent Ridge Park then to Telok Blangah Hill Park.

We set off at around 6.30pm on a Saturday and walked through the NUS campus. To be honest, it was my first real visit in the NUS campus. Somehow, we then walked to Science Park I or II, I don't know, which connected us to Kent Ridge park. We lit our lanterns on the hilltop and had our mooncakes too. It was lovely and the rest was well-deserved.



After filling our stomaches and admiring the moon, we then proceeded towards our destination. We walked through some forest, past the Alexandra offices, then past Bali Villa, past some long road filled with nice houses, through this dark forest and emerged at Telok Blangah park. Don't ask me how we got there but it was nice to finally reach the destination.

We agreed that the hike was quite tiring even though it seemed fairly easy. We both enjoyed ourselves tremendously!
