Hot in the City

This is about the life of Miss Mo, a 30-something gal who recently moved back to Singapore from the US.

Miss Mo takes on Kyushu, Japan

Didn't I tell you that December was super busy for me? Well, immediately after my Sentosa chalet, I had to leave the next day to Kyushu, Japan for my week-long vacation with 3 other girlfriends. The reason why I chose this destination is because Jocelyn invited me after my failed South Africa trip. Morever, I wanted to see the Atomic bomb museum in Nagasaki and of course, who can resist the hot springs.

We first went to Huis Ten Bosch, a dutch theme park. It looked even more dutch than Netherlands!

Another highlight of the trip was going to Beppu, a region well-known for its hot springs. You can see from the picture that this hot spring is too hot to be soaked in. We could only watch as the steam evaporated. Alas, our hotel had its own tiny outdoor hot springs. However, I was too sick then to do much. I ate this big pot of stew that was fit for a Sumo Wrestler and fell sick and threw up after that.

I was still pretty sick at Hello Kitty Land. All these pictures were taken by the other girls. Even my favorite Batz Maru didn't make me feel better.
